Kayla Pecchioni

Kayla Pecchioni is a Broadway actor, singer, dancer, and educator based in New York City.

A joyful Broadway performer in a vibrant pink tutu and orange crop top strikes a dynamic dance pose on a New York City sidewalk, holding onto a lamppost with one arm extended toward the sky.
She is currently appearing in the Broadway revival of Ragtime at Lincoln Center Theater and will make her Muny debut this summer starring as Katherine Plumber in Newsies.

A Kentucky native, Kayla moved to New York and booked her first professional contract at Radio City Music Hall just three days later. Since then, she has appeared in the original Broadway casts of Ragtime, The Great Gatsby, Some Like It Hot, and Paradise Square; starred as Nabulungi on the national tour of The Book of Mormon; and performed for audiences nationwide through televised appearances including the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, Good Morning America, and The Tony Awards.

A lifelong dancer and true triple threat, Kayla’s career has been built on versatility. Equally at home in dance-driven Broadway spectacles, Golden Age classics, and contemporary musical theatre, she has earned a reputation for bringing precision, warmth, and star power to every stage she steps onto. Her work is guided by a commitment to excellence and a deep belief in the transformative power of live theatre.

Beyond performing, Kayla is a passionate educator and mentor who is dedicated to helping the next generation of artists cultivate confidence, resilience, and a healthy, sustainable relationship with their craft. She lives in New York City with her husband, Colin, and their two beloved cats.
